Overview Annually in October, Immaculata students in grades 3-8 take the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS), a nationally recognized achievement test. The ITBS is a norm-referenced test that compares scores of Immaculata students to the scores of a national sample of students. Students in grades 4 and 7 take the Riverside writing test. Eighth graders take the North Carolina computer literacy test and eighth graders enrolled in Algebra I take the North Carolina Algebra I end-of-course test.
